I have bought & worn Champion 9" stretch fitted shorts for years and my old ones are wearing out. I bought some about a year ago and they are different from my first set, but still OK with wide elastic at the waist and tightening fabric throughout. These new ones are a different style yet and don't fit at all. The waist has a thin elastic with no give in it so that they almost won't go on over my hips. The fabric is thin and doesn't firm and tighten at all. Why keep changing manufacturers and style when your original product was wonderful?

I tried these on and returned them as soon as possible. The fabric is cheap looking and is not soft like the old power liner fabric. The fit seemed about the same. I wear a size 12 jean and bought these in L - as I used to buy the power liner. The waist band is not comfortable. BRING BACK THE OLD 9 inch power liner - PLEASE!

I liked the quality of the material but the sizing is so far off its unbelievable. I buy from this store often and my size is the same on everything I buy, except this. The waist does not give at all.

I purchased these to replace the prior version of 9" inseam cotton/spandex champion shorts. I have replaced many pairs of these powerliner shorts for the last 2 decades. I have always loved these shorts. The waist on this new version is very unforgiving. Everytime I put them on a seam pops. If you are pear shaped or hourglass you will need to look for something else. I wore size M in the powerliner version. I ordered large in this version based on reviews and am very unhappy. These were not made to support my pear shape. Loyal customer gone, moving on.
