4 stars since waist band is not stitched down. I love this skirt. It does run small but due to reviews, I was able to buy a size larger. It is very flattering and fits well. Finally a skirt that I don't feel fat in.

Why wasn't it FINISHED?
What a shame! This is a beautiful skirt! The fit is nice, the bounce is there, the stretch is there, I am tall and consider myself very modest, I adore the length... HELLO!!!! WHATS UP WITH THE UNFINISHED WAISTBAND????? worse yet? why didn't I read the reviews and see for myself, others had this same problem? I ordered this skirt for a trip.. no time to send it back and order something else... oh the joys of catalog ordering! blah!

The skirt fits great and looks super with lots of my tops. I am transitioning sizes so great price to help keep my clothed.

Pleasantly surprised!
I love this skirt. I love the way the fabric stays smooth without clinging. It's not paper-thin but not too heavy. No, the waistband isn't stitched down but it doesn't really bother me. I'm 5'10" and this skirt is plenty long enough to be modest but not so long it's like a maxi. I got it in Black and I am very pleased with it.
