JMS Flat-Front Career Pants, Tall
Looks good. Price great. Recommend with warning
I echo some of the reviews about the smaller fit in the waist. I ordered the b/w houndstooth & tweed in a larger size and still the waists were snug and were a bit too loose at the lower legs. The zipper, I know would not hold up in the long term, but I am good at sewing and repair.
The tweed was not what I expected, for some reason, I thought that I would be getting a more subtle 'tweed' knit. This is a bit bolder in tone and a bit shiny. However, it is differrent and I decided to keep it and will wear occasionally for business. The fabric is very lightweight and I dont mind that. The quality is not great, but the price is. I dont think this will stand up to much wear - but you get what you pay for. I am tall and a bit overweight. JMS is one of the few shops where I can get fairly, good-fitted pants with a good length at a decent price.

Comfortable but too loose
These slacks run a bit large and with the "tall" sizing the waistline is very high which makes them fit a little strange. They are comfortable but honestly too loose, even though I ordered my typical size.

Love the professional look & length but....
These pants run too..too small! I mean really. I bought the PLEATED fronts in a size 28 tall. They fit ok...was little snug in the waist, so I moved the button over a tad. Now, they are perfect. I bought 3 pair of the FLAT front slacks in the size 30 tall beacuse they were on sale, and so I wouldn't have to move the buttons and they were too small! I mean they wouldn't even zip. One of the zippers even came off! I guess I know now why they are on sale. I had to send them back for a size 32T! I can't believe it, but even the 32s are snug in the tummy and waist. I mean eat a big meal and you will be unzipping and unsnapping until it digests...lol..no give whatsover.. I tried on the 28 pleated front pants to make sure it wasn't me not knowing my size...and once again, they fit fine. So, it has to be the pants. However, the style is what I like..career slacks..nice colors & materials ...because you get tired of stretchy-stretchy materials all the time with the elastic waists in pants.....but they need to have a little more room for the parts of a full figured woman that need it. Like in the tummy area and in the seat! Invest in more realistic tailoring and you will have a winner here.

I ordered two pairs of these pants in the same size (16W) but different colors (Black and B/W Tweed) and they fit very differently. The blacks pants fit fine but they had a shiny sheen to them that looked as if I ironed them too much. I loved the look and feel of the Tweed pants but they were too small in the waist.
