What happened?
I have been wearing Hanes socks for over 25 years. I have tried other brands but they just couldn't compare with Hanes. For the quality, this is what bothers me the most. The first pair I put on had a hole in it the same day I took them off. The next week I had a hole in another sock. By the end of the month I threw a third sock.The bottoms are nice and soft but with the size of my feet I looze the heel cushion.
Hanes went from first to worst.

Bad Quality
I am extremely disappointed. Quality of these socks is horrible.
They began sprouting holes as soon as ONE DAY

Great value for the cost
Although I have just worn the socks a few times, they are very comfortable and proved good cushioning while I play tennis. The fit seemed to be a little large, but that has been no problem. Time will tell if they last without getting holes in the pressure points.

Reduced quality standards
I have been buying the Hanes Cushion Crew Men's Socks exclusively for 15+ years and have been extremely satisfied, however, the last couple of 6-packs that I have purchased seem to be of a thinner/lighter, less robust material and are not as durable as previous product. I don't know if this is a result of changing supply vendor or a conscious result of corporate cost saving measures, but it has made a noticeable difference in my perceived quality of the product. Please reconsider whatever decisions are behind the change.
