I have worn these ribbed socks for years
I have worn these ribbed socks almost daily for years and keep a big wad of them in three plastic bags for the three colors I need. I have never had a run, but on rare occasion have had a hole if I snag one on something rough while not wearing shoes. I stuff a dozen or so in a mesh bag for the washing machine, then hang over a rod on my drying rack. I buy a size slightly bigger than I need, so they go up to my knees. They're very comfortable and I'm more than satisfied.

runs easily
This style hose easily runs. My pair ran the second time I wore them. I would recommend you try a different style.

This was my second purchase of these trouser socks. I have a heavy leg and I am also tall. I would prefer that they were a tad longer, with a reinforced toe, but they are trouser socks.
You must pull them on carefully since they are thin and light. If you take care to do so, they will not run.
They are great under most pants and in all my shoes--they do not add extra bulk which always makes my shoes lose their fit.

Runs easily
The ribbed part of this sock, runs very easily. I only got to wear the pair once. I do not recommend.
