These are not leggings. They are stockings without the foot. I ordered 3 pairs and give them to a thin 15 yr old because I would not have been able to fit into them.

Agree With Others, Waist Too Tight
These are more like footless tights. They are a nice weight and are comfortable. Nice to wear under clothes for extra layer of warmth. Also nice under tunics with boots. I wear a 2x but per reviews ordered the 4x. Even then the waist was tight. Because they were larger than my size I could pull them up to under my bra. It didn't cut my tummy that way. Of course no being my size I had some gathering of excess material but because they are like tights I can redistribute the fabric so it looks ok. I find these to be comfy for lounging or under pants for working outside.

More like tights
I was looking forward to getting these, the first thing I noticed was the odor of the dye. I ordered two pair and they had a real strong chemical odor, they really needed to be washed first according to the directions. I did get them a few sizes larger because of my height and what was available so they did fit but if I had ordered true to size they would have been too small. Also they were much thinner than anything I would consider as leggings, great to wear under a skirt or a dress but I would never wear these under a long shirt!

Do Not Buy
I was very disappointed in this product. First of all, they aren't leggings in the traditional sense. They are more like footless tights. Also, the fit runs very small. I got the biggest size offered and even though I followed the sizing chart, they did NOT fit! I'm saddened by this.
